Georgina Campbell Memorable Experience Award 2026 – Renvyle House Hotel

We are delighted that Renvyle House Hotel has received the Memorable Experience Award at the Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards 2026. The winners were announced on 22nd September at a ceremony lunch in the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin.

The Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards are now in their fourth decade, in recognition of outstanding food and hospitality across Ireland. Winners are chosen through independent, anonymous visits, with assessors booking and paying as guests do.

This year’s awards celebrated the human touch that makes a visit memorable. Georgina Campbell spoke about “the value of a warm welcome, a conversation and the small details that help guests feel at home“. She also highlighted “the growing interest in experiences that connect visitors with local food, culture, communities and the natural environment“.

Renvyle House Hotel was named Memorable Experience of the Year 2026 for “an experience that is inseparable from place“, on the Connemara coast. One of Ireland’s earliest country house hotels, it combines a rich history with warm hospitality under General Manager Anne Marie Kelly. “It has seen many changes and comfortable improvements for today’s guests…it is a wonderful place to visit“. Guests can enjoy local food, fireside comfort and an estate made for walking, fishing and exploring. Its appeal lies in the freedom to be active or simply unwind, allowing generations of guests to make their own memories.
